Dear Penn-Delco Community,
As the final stretch of the school year approaches, I want to take a moment to recognize the energy, achievement, and collaboration happening across our schools. This has been a terrific year across all grades and levels.
This year, we launched a new initiative to honor our incoming students in a special way. Kindergarten Signing Days, where our newest Penn-Delco students “commit” to their elementary school, welcomed our youngest learners and their families into our school community. This serves as a perfect bookend to the other end of the spectrum, where our graduating seniors recently participated in meaningful experiences such as Mock Interviews and Decision Day. In just a few short weeks, we will proudly celebrate the Class of 2026 at commencement. It is a powerful reminder of the full journey we support, from the starting line to the finish.
Across all grade levels, we continue to see outstanding student accomplishments and steady growth. Students are building the skills, confidence, and connections that will serve them well beyond our classrooms.

The Leader in Me program continues to flourish in our elementary schools.
- Northley Middle School will soon celebrate its fourth Schools to Watch recognition.
- Sun Valley High School earned a perfect Positive Behavior School Climate Rating score.
Alongside these achievements, we are seeing increased participation in Advanced Placement courses and impressive college acceptances. The strength of the K–12 experience in Penn-Delco is evident. Additionally, congratulations to our music educators and students. Penn-Delco has once again been named a 2026 Best Community for Music Education. Bravo!
As we move through this final stretch, we are also excited to begin implementing action steps outlined in our new Comprehensive Plan, centered on four key priorities:
- High-Quality Student-Centered Learning
- Measuring What Matters
- Engaged Family & Community Partnerships

These priorities position us well for a strong finish to this year and an even stronger start to the next.
