HELP SUPPORT UKIRK MINISTRY AT TCU
First Pres has partnered with Grace Presbytery in welcoming our first Presbyterian Church (USA) campus ministry at TCU! UKirk is now an official student group and the Rev. Sarah Crowther-Dixon moved from Austin this month to start as the new UKirk Campus Minister. The group is currently meeting on Wednesday evenings for dinner, and Sarah has asked area PCUSA churches to provide simple dinners for 5-7 students each week. If you would like to help support this ministry by providing dinner, click here. First Pres will host a formal welcome for Sarah at a later date to be announced.
SUBMIT YOUR 2026 ELDER CLASS SUGGESTIONS
The Nominating Committee is requesting suggestions for next year’s elders. Any active member of our congregation may suggest other active members to the Nominating Committee to be considered for nomination. A suggestion does not constitute nomination. However, your suggestions are essential to the work of the Committee. The spiritual growth and development of our congregation is entrusted to your officers (Ruling Elders). These are not honorary positions or rewards. They are offices requiring wisdom and maturity, exercised in service. The Ruling Elders elected will serve a three-year term beginning January 2026. Submit your suggestions here.
SAVE THE DATE FOR EEC SUNDAY, MARCH 2
First Pres will celebrate Early Education Center Sunday on March 2. Come and enjoy special music during worship, student art on display, a free lunch, and a grand opening of our new playground! Watch for more details.
