International Cartridge Corporation (ICC) develops and manufactures exclusive lines of premium ammunition to advance the lead-free and frangible concept for military, law enforcement, hunting, and self-defense applications. PennTAP worked with ICC to review their heating and cooling Roof Top Units (RTUs) and apply for a Small Business Advantage Grant. Read more.

The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has created a new agricultural energy efficiency rebate program to help agricultural producers in the Commonwealth reduce energy consumption on their farms through the use of energy efficient technologies.
Rebates will pay 50% of equipment costs, up to $2,000 per technology category. Applications are being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis as funding remains available or through June 30, 2022. Learn more.

On April 8, Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf announced a $2.3 million investment in 36 student research projects that will help advance innovation in several sectors of manufacturing. The 36 projects are part of the Manufacturing PA Initiative’s fellowship program. The program embeds the commonwealth’s best and brightest graduate and undergraduate students with local manufacturers.

Two new endowments totaling $4 million will increase economic development in western Pennsylvania through a powerful partnership between Penn State and the Community Foundation of Western PA and Eastern OH, with the support of the Sharon community.
