Advisors Heidi Shadeck along with Krista Schneider, who has a background in building renovation and adaptive reuse, recently collaborated on an assessment for a building rehabilitation project in Western PA near Penn State Shenango. The organization is in the process of converting an old Westinghouse electric plant into a controlled environment agriculture facility. In addition to evaluating the overall functionality of the space, the advisors connected the organization with solar energy and workforce development resources and recommendations.
