Pennell Families,

During this time of year it is important to reflect on the things that we are grateful for. As the principal of Pennell, I am thankful for a wonderful student body, a dedicated staff, a supportive PTO, and an involved community. I believe that it takes a village, and I'm proud to a part of this Penn-Delco family. Thank you for all of our support!

This week we will hold the fall parent-teacher conferences. Students have a half-day of school Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to accommodate the conference schedule. Dismissal is at 11:15 all three days.

GREAT NEWS! Penn-Delco is offering families access to Power Kids Power Library, Pennsylvania's Electronic Library quicker and easier than ever!

Simply log in to your student's pdsdstudents gmail account and click on the waffle dots at the top right. Scroll down to find the Power Schools icon and you will have immediate access to all of the content this digital library has to offer. No need for an ecard number or library card number to access at home!

Holiday Shop is December 5 & 6. The flyer will come home next week with all the details. We will need lots of volunteers, including set up on 12/4, so please sign up here if you can help!

The Hospitality Committee is beginning to plan the Teachers' Holiday Luncheon for December 20. Stay tuned for a signup genius for donations & ways to help.

Special Person's Dance is February 2. This is a new event & we are excited to see what the committee has been planning. Flyers will come home in December. 

Glow Party is March 1 at the Aston Community Center. This will replace Family Bingo as the 5th Grade Committee's biggest fundraiser of the year. All Pennell families are welcome & we can't wait to see what glowing fun they come up with. 

Variety Show is April 5 at Northley Middle School. Start thinking about those performances! Details to come as we get closer.
