Can you believe it is the last week of October? Friday will be November 1st. This year has been rocking and rolling. After a full week of classes this week, please note that next Monday and Tuesday (11/4 and 5) will be in-service days, and no school for students.

Cell Phones and Smart Watches:

Please remind students that they are not allowed to have smart watches on their wrist during the school day, it is the same as having a cell phone, and as such is a distraction to the learning environment. We understand that parents use these devices to communicate with their children on the way to and from school. If your student brings a personal electronic device to school, including a smart watch, they must put it in their school bag turned off during the school day.

Reminder:

Anyone picking up your child at dismissal MUST have the gold card with your family's name on it, or they will be asked to go to the office and produce identification so that we can check it with our system.

Outdoor Classroom & Shed Clean Up Day

Freddy's Fundraiser Night - January 15, 5 - 9pm

Mark your calendars for January 15 & join us for dinner! Freddy's in Brookhaven will donate 15% of sales that night to the Pennell Outdoor Classroom. Details to come!

Speaking of calendars - the Glow Party has been moved to March 14 due to a few conflicts. Details to come as we get closer, but it is still an evening event at the Aston Community Center. This Pennell-only event is the biggest fundraiser for the 5th Grade & we hope to see everyone there!
