Pennsylvania Medicaid to Collect Data for Patient-Driven Payment Model & More
On July 14, 2020, the Pennsylvania Department of Health (PA DOH) posted a teleconference with associated handouts on the Nursing Facility Report Portal (NFRP) under the Minimum Data Set (MDS) Resources tab. The teleconference lasts about one half hour and is packed with interesting information on PA’s plan to start collecting Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM) data on Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (OBRA) assessments sometime after January 2021. Other updates include Pennsylvania Case Mix Index (CMI) baseline review status, COVID-19 related updates, and information on updates for the Skilled Nursing Facility Quality Reporting Program (SNF QRP), Payroll-Based Journal (PBJ) data reporting, and Nursing Home Compare.
