Introduction to RRS: “Who and what is Rape Response Services?” is the topic of this 1.5-hour presentation. Learn about our mission, values, the work being done for victims/survivors of sexual violence, and the work being done in primary prevention. Learn about our services, projects, and community collaborations.

Trauma-Informed Response to Sexual Assault: Our Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) Advocate is available to provide professional training programs to municipalities, first-responders, law enforcement and corrections officers, civic groups, social service providers, health care providers, and other professionals to assist in building their capacity to respond to victims/survivors of sexual violence with a trauma-informed lens. We are available for in-service trainings, staff meetings, or other events determined by the organization.

Human Trafficking Identification and Response: Our Sex Trafficking Action Response Team (START) is available to provide professional training programs to municipalities, first-responders, law enforcement and corrections officers, civic groups, social service providers, health care providers, and other professionals to assist in building their capacity to recognize and respond to victims/survivors of sex trafficking. We are available for in-service trainings, staff meetings, or other events determined by the organization.

RRS Volunteer Advocate Training: This is a 40-hour training based on statewide training standards for community members interested in becoming a volunteer. Volunteer advocates assist with our 24/7 helpline service, medical accompaniments (going to the hospital with survivors), tabling events, and community awareness events such as Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

Online Safety for Parents and Caregivers: "Navigating, Guiding, Supporting, and Protecting Our Youth in the Digital Age" is a 1-hour presentation that addresses the concerns of parents/caregivers with their child's exposure to and interaction with digital media in all its forms. We approach how to safely use media in balance as a family, find quality content, set expectations around healthy use to prevent conflict, and raise media-savvy consumers and creators.

Consent for Adults: This 1-hour presentation, tailored for adults ages 18 and older, explores in-depth the vital need for consent, its definition, and its application in relationships. We approach the responsibility, legalities, and communication needed in relationships, and how consent is the basis for building a healthy relationship.
