Student Hours:  8:20 to 3:50

First Bell Rings at  8:15

Office is Open  7:55 to 4:10

At PES, we try to protect our instructional time. We thank you for helping us give teachers time to prepare for their classes in the morning. If you need to speak to a teacher after 8:15, we will ask you to leave a note or make an appointment. All visitors will be required to sign in at the school office and obtain a visitor’s pass.

Thanks for getting after school messages to the office by 2:00. This allows us to get messages to students with fewer interruptions and to ensure we have ample time to pass on the information.

PLEASE label all student belongings including: coats, hats, gloves, mittens, lunch boxes, backpacks, etc.

A December Message from your AP

Since Mrs. Lesser is feeling "grinchy", I took it upon myself to write this month's message.

December is here, and so is the holiday season! I cannot believe that half the year has gone by. There have been so many great experiences already for our students and the rest of the year promises even more! Thanks go to our teachers for their unending energy and dedication to creating lessons for our students that are engaging and powerful; to our office staff for their personal touch in supporting student and parent's needs; to our custodians for keeping our school functioning; to food services for filling tummies and providing our students with nutritional meals every day (how about that fabulous meal for Grandparents' Day), and to Mrs. Lesser for her unfailing commitment to all of us here at PES!

December is a month to reflect on friends and family. Hopefully you take some time during the Winter break to connect or reconnect with people who are important to you. We are all so busy this time of year, we often forget to look around and see where we might be able to improve someone else's life, while enhancing our own. The holidays provide a great opportunity to teach our children the joy of giving to others.

If we have not had the opportunity to meet, please stop by on Mondays or Tuesdays. I'd love to meet you!

Happy Holiday,

Mrs. Gifford
