While we are making the last preparations for Shavuot (Pentecost), God has opened for us an amazing door of opportunity to preach the gospel to the people of Israel. We currently have 9 buses with 450 people ready and eager to join our special Shavuot evangelism event in Jerusalem.

However, we feel the Holy Spirit is speaking to us and leading us to open the gospel doors for more people, because there are more Israelis who want to hear the gospel, who wish to be a part of this potentially life changing event for them where they will get to hear the message of salvation for the first time in their lives...

The prayers of the saints into Israel's current situation and its prophetic destiny, will have a mighty effect and are not in vain. Not only do the prayers of the nations inspire Israeli believers to become prayer warriors, evangelists, and church planters themselves, but Israel as a nation is being prepared according to God's plans.

In Isaiah 62:1 we read "The nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory; you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the LORD will bestow. You will be a crown of splendor in the LORD's hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God.

Someone once said: “When you have more than you need, build a longer table, not a higher fence.” When you look at what you have, whether it’s a lot or a little, if you find you still have more than others — it’s time to build a longer table and share your blessings. Shavuot is known as the feast of harvest, because it is the time when harvest is collected in Israel.

Leviticus 23:22 — “When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Leave them for the poor and for the foreigner residing among you. I am the Lord your God.

Shavuot is a deeply significant time in the Bible. Time for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, His works, power, and presence in our lives. It’s a joyful feast because we celebrate the moment the history of all mankind changed forever. It’s something people of God were commanded to celebrate year after year for generations, even before Yeshua’s birth.

I’d like to highlight the connection between Shavuot and Pentecost that became the fulfillment of God’s promises. This is why it is no coincidence that Pentecost took place on the date of Shavuot.
