Celebrate Mass Together at Assumption

Both parishes will have a joint Mass on Sunday, May 19, at 10:30am (not 9:30am) at Assumption Parish, 55 Cranberry Street. There will be no 11:15am Mass at St. Boniface on that day.

We will celebrate together at the St. Philip Neri picnic after Mass!

Food, fun, games, a rock climbing wall on Cranberry Street, crafts, pet dress-up contest, and a photowall!

Calling all Volunteers

The success of our picnic greatly depends on the efforts and dedication of volunteers like you. Whether you can spare an hour or the entire day, your contribution will make a significant difference in creating a memorable and enjoyable event for everyone. We need volunteers to help with: set-up and breakdown, children’s activities, pet dress-up contest, grill servers, safety monitors, info table, dessert table. St. Philip Neri Novena

The feast day of St. Philip Neri is Sunday, May 26. Novena booklets are available in both churches. The novena begins on Friday, May 17, and continues through May 25. Let’s prepare for the feast of St. Philip by joining together in a spirit of prayer for the Oratory, our parishes, and all our intentions. You can download a booklet here: https://bit.ly/3K5Cvlr.

In Search of Volunteer Photographer

The Oratory Communications Committee is in search of a photographer to take pictures at the Philip Neri Picnic on 5/19 and possibly other events on a volunteer basis. If you are willing and available to share your talents, please contact Brigida Munoz, bmunoz16@yahoo.com, before 5/18.

Vestation Ceremony Honoring Fr. Kishore and Br. Andy

We are delighted to invite you to join us in the Vestation Ceremony of Fr. Kishore Nagothu and Br. Andy Richards who will receive their religious habit in the Brooklyn Oratory of St. Philip Neri. The ceremony will take place at our quarterly joint parish Mass at Assumption parish. Please join us in prayer and celebration as we witness this special moment in their spiritual journey. Your presence will truly make the day even more meaningful for them. We hope you can join us in honoring Fr. Kishore and Br. Andy on this important occasion.

Website Update

As part of upgrading our Oratory Parishes website, we are partnering with DeSales Media, a professional media company, to capture images of our beautiful churches and wonderful parishioners. On Sunday, June 9, DeSales Media photographers will attend our parish Masses to photograph both the interior and exterior of our buildings and parishioners. We are thrilled to be working with DeSales Media on this project and are excited to showcase our church community on our updated website. The rain date is Sunday, June 16.
