Mission Statement

Our Vision Friends and neighbors joyfully sharing and living the Gospel and the transforming love of Jesus Christ through our Parish Family

Our Mission To invite and welcome people of all ages, backgrounds and walks of life to embrace and celebrate our vocations.  "To be Christ to the world.”

For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body,

whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free persons,

and we were all given to drink of one Spirit.

~I Corinthians 12

From Our Pastor

Dear Parishioners and Friends,

Happy Pentecost! The action of the Holy Spirit in our Church and the work and mission of Christ continues for us today.

We are the Apostolic Church, living by faith. The Gospel message proclaimed by Christ was witnessed first-hand by the Apostles themselves. Though we are living in a different time, our mission is the same: To proclaim and carry out the mission of Christ in the world.

This weekend we welcome Mr. Anthony Nicolosi to Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Parish as he pauses his seminary studies during the summer before returning to school in the fall. Our parish community is blessed to support our young priests and seminarians from this Diocese.

Be sure to check inside this bulletin for upcoming events including Vacation Bible School.

May God bless you!

Prayer for our earth

All-powerful God, you are present in the whole

universe

and in the smallest of your creatures.

You embrace with your tenderness all that exists.

Pour out upon us the power of your love,

that we may protect life and beauty.

Fill us with peace, that we may live

as brothers and sisters, harming no one.

O God of the poor,

help us to rescue the abandoned and forgotten of

this earth,

so precious in your eyes.

Bring healing to our lives,

that we may protect the world and not prey on it,

that we may sow beauty, not pollution and

destruction.

Touch the hearts

of those who look only for gain

at the expense of the poor and the earth.

Teach us to discover the worth of each thing,

to be filled with awe and contemplation,

to recognize that we are profoundly united

with every creature

as we journey towards your infinite light.

We thank you for being with us each day.

Encourage us, we pray, in our struggle

for justice, love and peace.

Pope Francis, Laudato Si’, 2015.
