May 19. His parents are Chris and Kelsey Mekolik. His grandmother is Paula Mekolik. Harrison's sponsors are Aaron Mekolik, and Courtney and Caleb Pratt.

Run for the House

Pastor Rich and Karen McLeer participated in the B/CS Habitat for Humanity's Run for the House on Saturday, April 20th.

Bryan/College Station Habitat for Humanity and the Faith in Action Committee hosted the annual Run for the House race at the Lakewalk Pavilion in Bryan.

Run for the House is one of two annual major fundraisers organized by Faith in Action to support B/CS Habitat for Humanity’s work of building decent and affordable housing for families from low-income backgrounds in the community.

The 5k run/2k walk welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and any fitness level. It is less about how fast you run and more about helping low-income families right here in the Bryan College Station area!

Linda Kenyon

The National Cancer Registrars Association celebrated their 50th anniversary in Indianapolis this year. To make the event extra special, they asked for anyone in the nation to submit names of people to be recognized as heroes in the cancer field that were inspiring to others and inspiring in they way they did their job. Linda Kenyon was nominated by a former student of hers that she worked with for two years. Linda was selected as one of the heroes from around the country. She received the pin pictured above at the ceremony. Linda shared, "it was an amazing celebration and I was humbled by the caliber of women and men that were standing next to me at the celebration." Congratulations Linda!
