PEORIA, IL (July 17, 2025) – The Peoria Park District is inviting the public to help select a new playground design for Endres Park. District staff and Board of Trustees are asking community members to review three proposed concepts and provide feedback through an online survey open now through Monday, August 4.
In addition to the online survey, community members are encouraged to attend a public input session on Thursday, July 24, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Endres Park to view the designs in person and share their thoughts directly with Park District staff.
“We’re asking the public to share their feedback and help us choose one of three concepts,” said Peoria Park District Executive Director Emily Cahill. “We want to ensure that the people who consider Endres Park their neighborhood park have a meaningful voice in its future.”
Endres Park, located in Peoria Heights, is a neighborhood green space that currently includes picnic tables, a shelter, and open areas for play and relaxation.
Each of the proposed playground options is vibrant, engaging, and designed to meet PlayCore’s Criteria for Inclusive Design, ensuring play opportunities for children of all abilities.
