ICC Visit Days

As we start another year the Board of Directors would like to first thank ALL of our investors over the years that have made Peoria Promise possible. With your support we have been able to expand our program to include West Peoria and Peoria Heights students now as well. Enabling more students to attend ICC and gain the skills they need to join our workforce and become productive members of our community. Our legacy lies in the over 6,000 students we have supported because of you. Please share our story with others as we continue to grow. Hope to welcome you to THE EVENT Sunset Soiree in August and don't miss our Fashion show in November.

I am excited to join the Peoria Promise board and look forward to connecting with the dedicated members of this community. I chose to serve because I believe deeply in the positive impact Peoria Promise has on our region. With the addition of Peoria Heights students, I believe this will help many residents in my community. As we raise funds for local students to pursue their education right here in the Peoria area, we are investing in our city’s future.  I know from my own college journey that every bit of financial support makes a difference. And to help a student alleviate the burden of debt is a personal and professional win in my book.

I am happy to serve on the Peoria Promise Board of Directors. As a 2008 graduate of Richwoods High School and a prior recipient of Peoria Promise benefits, I look forward to giving back to the community.

I hold an Associate's degree in Fire Sciences and I am a Nationally Certified Paramedic for the Peoria Fire Department. I have served with the PFD for 8 years. Through the Peoria Fire Department, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with community members to create the Fill the Firetruck Initiative. This initiative has delivered over 1300 stuffed backpacks to children in Peoria each summer.

My wife and I have two children currently in Peoria Public Schools. I am so grateful for all the work Peoria Promise has done to make a difference in my life, and I look forward to continuing to give back.
