Our mission is to offer support to parents of NICU infants, individuals and their caregivers undergoing cancer treatment, and caregivers of individuals who are in intensive care units by providing convenient and free of cost lodging in a peaceful and restorative environment.

The 4300 Club Member Spotlight

Daniel Frazier, serves on our 4300 Club Executive Board as the Co-Vice President of Programs. Daniel lives in downtown Little Rock and is the Special Events Coordinator at the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at UAMS and a Razorback fan all the way - Go Hogs! (no matter what season they are having). When asked why he supports the Home and serves on The Club's Board he shared "The Home for Healing mission is deeply personal for me. When I was 23, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Hodgkin’s Lymphkma. Fortunately, the prognosis was always good, but I did have a stem cell transplant at UAMS in 2014. I know first hand the importance of having a place to stay that’s close by. My family lives in Pine Bluff, but the difference in a 5 minute drive versus a 45 minute drive during the daily stem cell hospital visits cannot be overstated. UAMS is a world-class facility and having Home for Healing operate across the street is right on par; they are both top-notch organizations doing amazing work during some very troubling times in the lives of patients and guests."

Daniel and his Co-Vice President Rachel Biggs are hard at work planning fun opportunities for the Home for Healing guests to relax, have a little fun, and take their mind off the medical realities they’re facing during their stay. Think cookie decorating, designing your own t-shirt, and game night, all with their comfort and accessibility in mind. Daniel shared, "one of the BEST things about being the Program co-chair is engaging with other 4300 Club members AND guests in The Home."

In order to keep expanding the ways we can serve, Home for Healing now allows our guests to stay at no room costs and has removed any income qualifications. The Home has also lifted the 50-mile distance from Little Rock rule so that those with transportation issues to and from treatment can now consider us an option.
