Dear Sally,

PERHAPS, the HARDEST LESSON of LIFE!

“CEASE ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils, for wherein is he to be accounted of” Isaiah 2:22

“CURSED be the man that trusted in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departed from the Lord” Jeremiah 17:5

After 74 years of living and in retrospect, I can see that God in His infinite wisdom allows ALL to FAIL us, so that we learn to depend in God and God alone!

To me, ALL has meant Family, Friends, Church, Government, Corporations, Businesses, Individuals and most of all Myself. This perhaps has been the greatest lesson of my life-Learning to TRUST in GOD ALONE!

When Israel, God’s 1st denominated people, rejected a Theocracy (Government by Divine Guidance) and wanted a king over them ... only misery ensued.

We are no different today! We look to “MAN” and man’s institutions, but they have all failed in the end. Every government from Babylon, Medo Persia, Rome, the European nations and the good old USA have failed.

God's first denominated church, the Roman Catholic church and all the Protestant churches have a terrible track record of settling into themselves.😢

From the time of Adam and Eve’s failures, God has been trying to get us to LET GO of all our, “ISAAC’s,” and return to truly RESTING in HIM and REMAINING in a True God-consciousness, receptivity, awareness and response according to His Word!

Adam and Eve’s first son Cain failed big time and that weakness is in all of mankind today.

However, that doesn’t mean we throw any of them out. NO, they are to be ministered to, just not depended upon. You and I must find the Connection, the Total Dependence and the Oneness with God. Then live it out in our lives and bring it to others. That’s being God’s Ambassadors!

May we all WAKE UP, WISE UP and JOIN UP with the only safety and security in this world, God and God alone! Acts 17:28, Colossians 2:10
