Rather than write an update in this issue of Periodic Possibilities I thought I'd share the interview with you. I'm very grateful to WKYC TV in my home town of Cleveland, Ohio and my brother Dave Chudowsky for everything it took to put this amazing series together. In hindsight it took something from me too but that's for another share.

Meet Gavin

‌

Gavin was diagnosed with stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma initially but genetic testing later revealed an even rarer type of cancer, desmoplastic small round cell tumors. His story and journey are unbelievable but after all Gavin has endured to survive he has made the choice to spend the rest of his time here on earth enjoying his family best he can. More than anything, Gavin wants to leave amazing unforgettable memories with his 3 younger brothers. He dreamt of a weeklong family trip to disney to create such memories but his Mom Jessica shares that he is now just too weak to fulfill that dream. He was 12 at the time his cancer diagnosis and is currently 13 years old.
