This acquisition marks Builder Advisor Group’s sixth closed M&A transaction in 2024, underscoring the ongoing demand for homebuilder acquisitions. BAG expects to close several more acquisitions through the end of the year and into early 2025. Additionally, BAG’s affiliate, Avila Real Estate Capital (AREC), has originated over $800 million in land acquisition and development loans since late 2022, further supporting industry growth.

MERITAGE HOMES ACQUIRED ELLIOTT HOMES

Builder Advisor Group is pleased to announce that it served as the exclusive financial advisor to Elliott Homes (“Elliott”) in the sale to Meritage Homes (“Meritage”). With this transaction, Meritage will acquire over 5,500 lots making for a significant entry into the Gulf Coast markets. Both Elliott and Meritage are well aligned in their strategy with an emphasis on spec builds and affordable entry-level homes.
