City of Perry Celebrated with 2025 Visionary Award

The City of Perry is proud to announce its recognition as a recipient of the 2025 Visionary City Award. This honor is granted by the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) in collaboration with Georgia Trend Magazine.

This award celebrates the city’s Natural Gas Grant Program. The program has bolstered the city’s economic growth by supporting local entrepreneurship and revitalizing its historic downtown district by attracting locally-owned restaurants.

This initiative underscores Perry’s commitment to fostering a thriving business community.

Perry Fire & Emergency Services | 2024 In Review

In 2024, the City of Perry Fire & Emergency Services Department responded to 4,114 calls—protecting lives, property, and our community every day.

Operating from two stations, our firefighters provide fire protection, emergency medical services, technical rescue operation, fire safety education, fire cause investigation, and fire code inspections.

Serving approximately 26,000 residents across 27.9 square miles, Perry Fire & Emergency Services is always ready to answer the call.
