Greetings!

I hope you have been having a very healthy and happy summer. It's been a while since I have been in touch. Did you miss me?

Some of you are aware that I have had a new onset of ringing in my ear. It started in April and has been my constant companion since then. I have heard that many of you have this same condition. And I sympathize with you greatly. In the beginning, it was truly maddening. Like let me put an ice pick in there to stop it. (I know not the most ideal solution).

Over the past few months, I have learned some coping skills. And the loudness varies greatly from the sound of some bad florescent lights buzzing to a fire alarm inside my head. I prefer the buzzing.

As someone who appreciates quiet, I have had some real difficulty not having it.

And this for me is no different than any of you who have an ailment or injury crop up. It's made me be way more mindful and I keep asking myself "Am I Ok right now?" And most of the time the answer is yes, some of the time the answer is no, and I have to deal with some feelings around this situation.

Being present in this moment, then the next moment and doing one thing at a time helps with the overwhelm that comes with something unexpected that has come up in your life if it's a heath issue or anything else. Sometimes the health issue can be resolved, other times we have to learn to live with it. And both take time, patience, some seeking of information. It's not always an easy road; you might find someone to talk with, take some more down time if you needed, get outside if you can. Find the little things that bring you joy.

That's all we can do, because we cannot predict the future and what will or will not happen.

Nothing is changing at the moment with the schedule. Except I will be giving myself a little more time midday for a break for lunch. I find myself getting over stimulated and more fatigued because of the constant input I am receiving.

There are a lot of great things coming up in September. I invite you to come back to a more regular practice or bodywork session with us this fall.

NOW IS THE TIME TO:

Re-Commit to coming once a week to class

Try a new workshop that is being offered

You won't regret it!

Set up a month or bimonthly bodywork session with me to feel your best

With Love,

Denise

Vibrational Sound Therapy and Reiki Alignment: A Journey of Sound and Healing with Mindie and Carrie

Saturday September 27th, 11:15 am-12:30pm

$65

Vibrational Sound Therapy and Reiki Alignment is a holistic healing experience that unites the calming power of Reiki energy with the transformative frequencies of sound therapy. As the universal life force energy of Reiki flows through the body, sound vibrations work to dissolve energetic blockages, calm the nervous system, and elevate your vibrational state. This combination allows for deep relaxation, stress reduction, and emotional clarity. Whether you’re looking to release tension, enhance spiritual connection, or reset your energy field, this offering offers a safe space for profound healing.

Join Mindie Hung, VSTCP and Carrie Sensenic, MSS, LCSW, CHT, Reiki Master for an offering to promote overall balance in mind, body and spirit. Mindie will play specially crafted Himalayan singing bowls and tuning forks on and off your body to help release energetic blockages, calm the nervous system and enhance the natural flow of life force energy, otherwise known as prana.  In addition, Carrie will be sending Reiki, channeling that prana to promote emotional balance, mental clarity, and physical well-being. Together, these modalities create a deeply meditative and restorative experience, leaving you feeling lighter, balanced, and reconnected to your inner harmony.
