 I love this time of the year. Autumn is a feast for the eyes. Glorious colours surround us, warm and deep hues, so vibrant, yet so serious. Colours are magic! They're also dazzling and powerful communication tools.
Interior designers and landscape professionals regularly use colours to express a mood or feeling when decorating a home or creating a beautiful garden. As a Colour Analysis Professional, I do the same. I help my clients discover and understand what I like to refer to as their own "personal colour landscape".
Not everyone looks great in black, orange or pink. Each of us has a unique color blend. Some of us have:
- blue eyes, others brown or green eyes.
- light blond hair while others have dark brown or red hair.
- fair pink skin while others have medium or very dark warm skin tones
Our skin pigmentation, natural hair color, eye color and intensity dictate the colours that looks best on each of us.
The colours we wear on a daily basis can make us look:
- healthy, energetic, friendly, approachable or
- sickly, unfriendly, lethargic or unapproachable
