Quality Matters Teaching Online Certifications


Faculty members completed training for the Quality Matters (QM) Teaching Online Certificate. The QM Teaching Online Certificate enables instructors to demonstrate their knowledge mastery of online teaching. 

There are seven workshops that are part of the QM Teaching Online Certificate: Gauging Your Technology Skills, Evaluating Your Course Design, Exploring Your Institution's Policies, Orienting Your Online Learners, Connecting Learning Theories to Your Teaching Strategies, Creating Presence in Your Online Course, and Assessing Your Learners. Workshops range from one week to two weeks and learners must successfully complete the workshop assessments.

The Purpose Center Staff Completes National Career Development Association (NCDA) Facilitation Career Development Training

Mariah Frye, Courtney Jackson, and Jennifer Pardue officially graduated from the National Career Development Association (NCDA) Facilitation Career Development Training on May 24, 2022. NCDA Facilitating Career Development Training provides individuals with relevant skills and knowledge to assist others in planning careers and obtaining meaningful work.

NCDA Career Development Facilitator (CDF) is a 120-hour professional development program designed for experienced professionals who assist individuals and groups with career exploration, job search preparation, and resources. CDF is a nationally recognized, highly regarded credential that focuses on 12 career development competencies.
