It was 160 years ago today, March 19 — the Feast of St. Joseph — that the promise to live out FSPA's sacred ministry of Perpetual Adoration was made by Mother Antonia Herb: "Dear Lord, accept this poor light ... if you will help us and bless the community, we will one day establish the perpetual adoration of the Blessed Sacrament [introduced by FSPA in 1878]." Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration Lucille Winnike, who ministers as a retreat and spiritual director at Prairiewoods Franciscan Spirituality Center in Hiawatha, Iowa, gives thanks to our donors for supporting the 'place of peace and transformation.'
