Global Sisters Report has shared news of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration's "$2 million commitment to the Franciscan Action Network, a transformative gift that 'significantly expands FAN's capacity to build an intergenerational movement to respond to the moral imperatives of our time and strengthen the Franciscans' long-standing witness to gospel nonviolence.'" Adoration Talk: Canticle of the Creatures

As we celebrate 800 years of St. Francis' Canticle of the Creatures, we invite you to reflection with Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration Sarah Hennessey's Adoration Talk: short presentations (not much longer than five minutes) imbued in FSPA's sacred tradition of perpetual adoration. To experience "Canticle of the Creatures" and "Canticle of the Creatures Explained," visit fspa.org.

Wells of Wisdom: Sister Mildred Tigges

"Be true to yourself, and love who you are," says Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration Mildred Tigges in our newest Wells of Wisdom feature. She is sharing her own truth and adoration founded in her childhood on a farm in Iowa, service as a principal in Wisconsin and Utah and survival of a typhoon while teaching in Guam (among many other experiences in her ministerial life). "Be willing to take no, now and then," she says, "and accept the hard things and work through them." Experience Sister Mildred's story at fspa.org, where you will also discover wisdom from the wells of other FSPA.

Hope with Chileda Shine

As we continue to celebrate the Jubilee Year of Hope, we're sharing the vision of Chileda Shine Community Services, an FSPA ministry grant partner providing behavior assessment and support plans to children. "... hope manifests as our call to action. It's about recognizing [every child's] unique abilities and dreams, and understanding that, despite the obstacles they face, a brighter and more inclusive future is within reach." Get more reflections of hope at fspa.org.
