Advocating for justice in Washington D.C.

Franciscan Action Network recently hosted a Franciscan Justice Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C., and Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration Julia Walsh was there to speak about "Community Building as a Franciscan Pathway to Peace." "It's been a real joy to be with young adults ... and develop relationships with others in the Franciscan family," she shares. Sister Marcella Marie's love of life,

food and God

"Everybody needs to pitch in, eat whatever is served and enjoy life," shares Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration Marcella Marie Dreikosen as our new source for inspiration in Wells of Wisdom. Her story entails overcoming immense heartbreak by embracing her love of food service, FSPA perpetual adoration, pet sitting, life in community and God. FSPA moments in time

One of the ministries that Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration Karolyne Rohlik served was culinary: Baking in La Crosse, Wisconsin, at Villa St. Joseph from 1967 to 1976 and St. Rose Convent from 1995 to 1997.

Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration Meg Earsley, Mary Becker and Jean Michael Treba recently visited Pearl Street Books in La Crosse, Wisconsin; a local business striving to celebrate one of FSPA's Provocative Movements unity in diversity by investing in inclusivity and decolonizing its history wall.
