Want to learn the best ways to persuade skeptical Judges? Attend Persuasive Legal Writing, a one-hour seminar by Daniel U. Smith, a Certified Appellate Specialist and one of California’s leading appellate lawyers.

For over 30 years Mr. Smith has learned from judges what they like (and don’t like) in lawyers’ writing. Mr. Smith will present over 70 writing tips for capturing the judge’s attention from the beginning to the end of your motion or brief.

BHBA's programs also meet the CLE eligibility criteria in Alaska, Arizona, Hawaii and New Hampshire. Attorneys must individually apply for credit and, if mandated by the state, submit accreditation fees directly.
