What to Expect


  • Peru is an active destination with a unique topography that conjures sensation in all elements from cuisine to landscape and the way of life. Most definitely, the weather. It is a game of strip tease as the sun and wind deliver temperatures in drastic degrees throughout the day. Dress code? Layers.
  • The experience can be tailored to all degrees of adventure and comfort. You can see Machu Picchu without hiking and climbing to its summit. An overnight stay in the park is recommended. Then there are hotels catering to basic needs including infusing oxygen into each room to comfort guests on high altitude. Luxury is personal.
  • The rich culture and stunning landscape allow you to be as leisurely as trips to heritage sites and onboard luxury trains or as thrilling as zip lining activities and intense hiking. We did have a gentleman 71 years in our group scaling the mountain to complete all five zip lines. Cuisine delight is embedded in the itinerary from day 1.
  • Peru is a destination best experienced when you’re in good health, so it’s worth prioritizing while you’re at your best. This way, you can fully enjoy all it has to offer. You can always save trips that are a bit easier on the body, like Paris and Venice, for later.

Treasures in The Amazon
The surface area of the Amazon River and its tributaries is as large as that of Australia.
