A Message from the President

Shalom my friends,

Chicago Loop Synagogue continues to expand the ways we serve the Jewish community, and this month is an excellent example of that. In addition to shacharit services six days a week, we host a zoom egalitarian minyan on Friday night. We also have two Yiddish classes every week, and every month we host a book discussion group, a current events discussion group, and a parsha study group on zoom. We welcome you to join us!

We also have several exciting new events in April and May. More details and registration are on our calendar page, (please click here), but the highlights include:

And of course, we have Passover services for the remainder of the holiday as well as after the holiday. The schedule is:

Please note that for security reasons, we require RSVPs for all our services. To make a reservation, please email caryw@chiloopsyn.org. Discounted parking is available for all minyanim at 172 W. Madison.

For Yizkor, it is our tradition to honor the memory of our loved ones with tzedekah. Your contribution will help Mary Lynn and Cary support and strengthen our community. It will help us repair our aging infrastructure and enhance our security. And most importantly, it will help us plan for the future, so no matter what happens, we can continue to serve our fellow Jews.

Downtown Chicago may not be fully open yet, but our hearts are open wider than ever, and we ask you to open your hearts as well. Give generously and honor the memory of your loved ones by honoring us with your contribution. You can pay with a credit card either through our website, (please click here) or call the synagogue at 312-346-7370. If you prefer to mail your contribution, please send it to Chicago Loop Synagogue, PO Box 2537, Chicago, IL 60690.

Your contribution makes everything possible, and our gratitude knows no bounds.

Sincerely,

Lee Zoldan

President
