The Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce-Main Street – Tourism Bureau and Blue Moon are pleased to present the 45th Annual Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival in downtown Ocean Springs, Mississippi on November 4 and 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Our partners with F.E.B. Distributing Company and Blue Moon continue to help celebrate the legacy of the arts by offering the artfully crafted Blue Moon Art Project, which is a state-wide contest along with pre-events scheduled throughout “festival season”. Festivities for this year’s festival include the Blue Moon Kick-Off pub crawl.

iHeartRadio will be partner this year as the exclusive radio sponsor. They will set up and broadcast live throughout the festival, featuring onsite interviews and more.

“This festival has grown beyond our expectations,” says Cynthia Sutton, executive director of the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce-Main Street-Tourism Bureau. “This event is truly a coast-wide event with a reach with vendors from throughout the United States including those far away as New York, Utah, Michigan, Texas and Florida.”

The award-winning, arts festival attracts nearly 400 official vendors that will display everything from the finest pottery, paintings, jewelry, and sculptures to woodwork, metalwork, and handmade tile pieces. Attendees will enjoy plenty of the bestsounding southern music and tastiest, southern food around in this family-friendly outdoor event. New - Look for the police box (Tardis), Raising Cane’s plinko area, Blue Moon experience area and more.

The annual festival makes a significant contribution to developing the Mississippi Gulf Coast as a regional arts destination. The event has grown to become known as the largest fine arts festival in the state attracting an attendance up to 150,000 to the local area. In recent years, Mississippi State University Extension Service worked to determine the economic impact totaling $24 million to the local economy confirming that the Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival serves both as a tool to bring in new revenue into the community, but also serves to enhance the culture of the region.

The event has been recognized as “Festival of the Year” by Southeast Tourism Society, “Southern Traveler Treasure” by AAA Southern Traveler’s Magazine, and “Best Special Event” by Mississippi Main Street and is presented by F.E.B. Distributing Company/Blue Moon.
