Thank you to all who came out to experience TotE 2024 in its new time slot in June. It was a blast! We had a ton of fun and we hope you did too. TotE continues to push the edges of what theatre can be, by bringing you new and innovative works from a diverse network of artists exploring the form.

Once again, a huge THANK YOU to our amazing sponsors:

British Columbia Arts Council

BC Tourism

Salmon Arm MRDT Program

Shuswap Community Foundation

Canoe Forest Products

Rob’s Cleaning & Yard Maintenance Services

Faster Than Light Computing

And of course our presenters - Salmon Arm Arts Centre and Shuswap Theatre

We’d also like to extend an enormous THANK YOU to our dedicated crew, our talented performers and enthusiastic volunteers…and You, our wonderful audience! Your support, hard work, and passion made this year's TotE a truly unforgettable experience. We couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you!

Follow us on Social Media and stay tuned for announcements about coming events happening throughout the year and next year’s Artistic Application period.

See you next year!

Sweltering in the summer and cold in the winter in our dressing room, is a thing of the past! Armstrong Regional Co-op recently made a $2400 donation. When added to the $5000 gift from the Shuswap Rotary Club earlier in the year, we were able to install a heat pump. A huge thank you to both organizations for their ongoing support.

Your can support us by using our Co-op number 21100 when you make purchases at your local Armstrong Regional Co-op gas bars.

Once again, Shuswap Theatre will be entering a float in the Salmon Arm Fair parade. We are looking for people to help:

  • Build/decorate the float.
  • Ride on or walk with the float on the morning of Saturday Aug 24.

2025 Okanagan Zone Festival in Salmon Arm!

We are excited to be hosting the next OZone Festival in May 2025. Theatre groups from up and down the valley will each perform one evening, with plays being adjudicated by a professional director. The week culminates with an 'Oscar-style' Awards Ceremony, and the Best Production goes on to represent our zone at the provincial festival.

Hosting the festival is a major undertaking and its success requires the involvement of many people, with tasks varying in time commitment, some of which can be done from home.

We invite you to consider being part of the Festival Planning Committee. To find out more, email Nedine.
