Burgundy, France
Burgundy, located in eastern France, is one of the world’s most iconic and historically significant wine regions. Its reputation is built on an extraordinary attention to terroir: the vineyards, or climats, are often small, family-owned parcels with unique soil compositions, slopes, and microclimates. This patchwork of terroirs allows even subtle differences in land and exposure to create distinct expressions of the same grape, making Burgundy a true playground for the discerning palate.
Pinot Noir, the region’s signature red grape, has been cultivated here for centuries.
