Christmas Decorating

Christmas is right around the corner and we need YOUR help to transform our church for the holiday season next Thursday, beginning at 8 a.m. Whatever time frame you are able to come, is very much appreciated! Christmas Card Exchange

This Sunday begins drop-offs for our annual Petra Family Christmas Card Exchange! Look for the collection boxes in both the Lobby and Atrium at the card display. If you can alphabetize and rubber-band your cards, it would greatly help us! Please also be sure to write the first and last names of people or couples on the envelopes. Next Sunday will begin Christmas Card pick-ups where you can pick up Christmas Cards given to you from the appropriate boxes at the card display.

Resource Hub Sale

Our Resource Hub is having a special end-of-year sale beginning this Sunday. We will have worship CDs and some powerful books on discipleship, leadership, healing, and spiritual growth topics available for purchase at a discounted price. New this year, is a silent auction for two special custom-made signs containing the Theme Verse for our 2022 Calendar Year. The sale will run through Sunday, December 11. Stop by the Resource Hub between the services to browse these items and maybe even pick up some Christmas gifts!

ACTION Christmas

Petra High School Students are raising money to send to a children's home in India that currently has 40 boys and 50 girls ages 6-18. This money will go towards purchasing Christmas gifts and supplies for these children. If you would like to financially support this project, please click below and designate your gift to ACTION Christmas by Wednesday, December 7.

Parents, would you like a NIGHT OUT? On Friday, December 2, from 6 - 9 p.m. Student Ministries’ 12th-grade girls and their leaders will be babysitting kids (through age 12) to raise money for this year’s ACTION Christmas. This service is donation based, so you may give whatever amount you feel led to. Your kids will have fun with games and snacks while you have a date night or get some Christmas shopping done! Sewing for Hope

This women's group will have a work day next Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Café. Both sewers and non-sewers are welcome. See you there!

Kenya Mission Trip

Do you have a heart for the people of Kenya and serving? If you are 18 or older, you have an opportunity to minister at an African Youth Camp for ages 13 to 21. Pastors Brian and Tracy Coles are leading a team to Kenya, Africa under Randy and Bonnie Martin’s Preparing The Way Ministries.

The trip will run from April 28 - May 11, 2023. Team members must be willing/able to sleep in camping conditions (tents with air mattresses). For cost and additional information, please visit the page below or contact Pastor Tracy Coles for additional information. Applications are due by next Thursday, December 1.

Mission Prayer Focus

Nacho & Merrilee Barrera serve as part-time, non-resident Petra Missionaries with Hopewell Asia Missions. They provide discipleship and leadership coaching to indigenous believers at CityLights Church in Thailand. Pray God’s strength and anointing over them as they offer long-distance coaching, training, support, and encouragement to the CityLights believers in addition to their Petra Student Ministries Pastor responsibilities.

Winter FREEDOM Conference

Don't forget to register! If you are currently in a FREEDOM group or were unable to make it to our Spring FREEDOM Conference, this is your chance to experience powerful prayer, encouragement, and healing at our Winter FREEDOM Conference on December 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The cost is $25 per person.
