Ben Dodd Sabbatical Fund

We have been blessed with a very effective Counseling Ministry for over 30 years here at Petra! Ben Dodd, M.A., LPC, joined our team in 2004, and in 2014, he became the Lifespring Counseling Ministry Director. He is planning a summer sabbatical this year for rest and rejuvenation. He has been a major blessing and inspiration to many along their healing journey. Petra leadership would like to support and bless the Dodd family in their plans to recharge. A sabbatical fund has been opened for anyone wishing to bless Ben, Marci, and their family. If you'd like to give online, please click the button below and select "Dodd Sabbatical Fund" from the dropdown. Men's Breakfast

All guys 13 and older are invited to our Men’s Breakfast at Shady Maple next Saturday at 7 a.m. This month Brad Ortenzi, Eastern USA Director of ZOE International, will be sharing his testimony along with his current work. Brad has served with Zoe International since 2014, when he began his work in Thailand as the Director of Child Rescue, where he managed numerous child trafficking investigations and rescues. Brad travels to Thailand multiple times yearly to work alongside the Thai Police and conduct training. Most of his work is now done in the States, coordinating the Berks and Lancaster County Human Trafficking Task Forces. We look forward to seeing you at breakfast! The cost is $10; please pay onsite.

Men's Backpacking Trip

The Spring Men’s Backpacking Trip is happening Friday, June 2 - Sunday, June 4. They will be hiking approximately 20 miles of the Appalachian Trail. It is a moderate skill-level hike from Boiling Springs to Pine Grove Furnace. Saturday evening will end at a campground with a lake and a visit to the Appalachian Trail Museum. Barry's Car Barn Tour

Seniors, don’t miss your chance to take a trip down memory lane! The Senior Adults are headed to Barry’s Car Barn in Intercourse to check out some unique antique muscle cars next Friday at 10 a.m. Tickets are $13. If you are interested in joining, you can meet there and purchase your ticket at the door!

Pierogi Fest Fundraiser

You’re invited to a Pierogi Fest next Sunday, May 21, at 5 p.m. here in the Café! This fundraiser supports Petra Missionaries Darryl and Joyce Henson, who serve with Instep Ministries International. Guest Speakers Ian and Maria Kilpatrick will be sharing their testimony, and Darryl and Joyce will give an update on their ministry. Tickets are required for entry, so get yours below!

DOVE Global Leadership and Ministry School

The final session of the 2022-23 DOVE Global Leadership and Ministry School will take place at Petra tomorrow (Friday) evening and Saturday. The theme is “Disciple-Making Communities,” with a focus on spiritual families being the core building block for the Kingdom of God. Each weekend intensive is $125 per person or $215 per married couple. If you would like to attend this session, you may register below and pay at the door. Graduation will take place Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Oasis!
