Deeper Night

We’d love to see you and your family at our first Deeper Night of 2024 on Friday, March 8, at 7 p.m.! During this powerful night of worship and ministry, we will focus on celebrating the empowerment of the Holy Spirit in our lives. If you need healing, encouragement, a word from the Lord, or just want to soak in his presence, please join us as we set apart this night!

Save the Date - How We Love Workshop!

Milan and Kay Yerkovich, authors of How We Love, will be here at Petra on April 12 & 13 for an interactive How We Love Workshop. At this event, both singles and couples will learn their love style – a blueprint that shapes what you expect from relationships and how you receive and express love.

If you’ve ever struggled with connecting with others, you can use these proven tools and techniques to enhance your most valued relationships and learn to love well. The practical knowledge you will gain can help you in any relationship – marriage, parenting, friendship, or workplace! Register below by March 12 for an early bird discount. Kids' Palm Sunday Choir

Elementary Kingdom Kids (Kindergarten-Grade 4) are invited to sing in a “Palm Sunday” children's choir on Sunday, March 24!

Practice Dates are February 25, March 3, and March 10. Please ensure your child will be able to attend all 3 practices! Practices are on Sunday mornings during the service. Children only need to attend the practices at the 9 or 11 a.m. service, NOT both. The time commitment on Palm Sunday is 8:15-11:30 a.m., and we ask that your child is present for both services.

High School Winter Retreat

High School Students, don’t miss a weekend of powerful worship, testimonies, and community at our Winter Retreat at Refreshing Mountain! Drop off is at Refreshing Mountain at 6 p.m. on Friday, February 23, and pick up is at Refreshing Mountain at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 25. This year, our theme is “Refocus,” based on Colossians 3:2. Cost is $125 per student. Register below.

Bible Quizzing

This Sunday, Bible Quizzing will be held at Hinkletown Mennonite Church at 6:30 p.m. The focus is on Luke 8:40 through 10:16.

Lipstick & Crayons

Women of all ages are invited to join us this Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. in the Oasis, where we will "Connect While Chatting" as we just relax and hang out with each other! We hope to see you there!

Lipstick & Crayons is a program designed for women of all ages and walks of life, with a special focus on mothers. Childcare is available for children through Grade 6. Drop-off begins at 9:15 a.m.

Men of Iron

To all of our Petra Men, we’ve got mentorship opportunities for you too! Men of Iron’s Strong27 mentorships are designed for every man who desires accountability, balance, and spiritual growth. Strong27 requires a 12-month commitment with 2 monthly meetings, providing you the best opportunity to Know God, Know Your Purpose, and Know Each Other. There is a mentorship training camp at Petra on Saturday, March 9, where you can begin your Strong27 journey as a Protégé or Mentor. For more information on this opportunity, see below.

Men's Breakfast

All guys 13+ are invited to join us for community, food, and a testimony this Saturday at 7 a.m. Petra’s Encounter Pastor, Elmer (Dutch) Fisher, will share about Kingdom Business and how you can live with a Kingdom mindset.

Dutch and Rosa have six children, and in his free time, Dutch loves to bike, fish, hunt, and go on family vacations. Dutch is passionate about seeing chains broken off, hearts restored, and people set free, just as his life verse, Isaiah 61:1, proclaims. He loves to see young men and women finally experience the goodness of our Father!

Wild at Heart Basic Retreat

Every man needs an adventure to live. A battle to fight. A beauty to rescue.

All men 18+ are invited to a Wild at Heart Basic Retreat at Camp Sankanac from February 22-25. This retreat will feature video sessions by John Eldredge and the Wild at Heart team. Cost is $200 per person. Register below by this Sunday!

Chili Dinner & Movie Night

It’s that time of year again! Time for a cozy evening with chili, fellowship, and a movie!

All Senior Adults are invited to our annual Chili Dinner and Movie Night on Saturday, March 2, at 6 p.m. There's no need to register; just come on out! Donations will be received at the event.

Keystone Family Fundraising Event

Our Petra community is partnering with Lancaster County Keystone Family Alliance to provide support to foster families in our congregation. More details to come on how you can get involved!

In the meantime, you are invited to join Lancaster County Keystone Family Alliance at Calvary Church next Thursday, February 22, at 6 p.m. for a FREE event where you will hear about the needs of vulnerable children and families in your community and how you can create a ripple effect that impacts the lives of others.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Desserts & refreshments will be provided.
