Grace and strength to all those fasting this week!

The Sanctuary will continue to be open for personal prayer today and tomorrow (Friday) from 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

A digital copy of the Prayer & Fasting Guide is still available here. Devotions are emailed out daily and can be found here. Daily Reflections from our Staff and Prayer Points can be found on our Facebook and Instagram pages.

  • Friday - Deeper Night in the Sanctuary at 7 p.m.
  • Saturday - A Special Prayer Service in the Sanctuary at 7 p.m.
  • Sunday - We will conclude our fast with Communion during both services.

We'd love to hear what the Lord has been doing in your life this week! If you have a testimony you'd like to share, please submit it below.

BELONG: The Journey - The focus of BELONG this Sunday is “Serve.” Discover who God created you to be and how you can use your gifts and passions to serve others. Come to the BELONG Room at 9:30 or 11:30 a.m.

SONGS - Only Jesus, Every Victory, Son Of Suffering, Champion, I Love You Lord

THIS SUNDAY - We will honor the Sanctity of Human Life and how God created everyone in his divine image, no matter where life's journey has taken you. This year, Brad Ortenzi will share about Sex Trafficking, the reality of the trade, the redemption of Jesus Christ, and his role in fighting this issue.

NOTE to Petra Parents and Guardians: We wanted to draw attention to the content of the sermon because while trafficking people can take many forms, there will be a focus on sex trafficking. Brad is very aware of the variety of ages in our congregation on a Sunday morning and will attempt to use sensitive language. Granted, this is still a heavy topic. We wanted you to be aware if you would prefer not to have your children in the service and to be prepared for possible questions this may raise.

Communion - We will be taking communion this Sunday! Please pick up your prepackaged communion elements from the table as you enter the Sanctuary or Balcony. All Kingdom Kids volunteers serving outside the Sanctuary are welcome to take communion in the SLC Staff Room.

Fundraiser Meal - There's a Chicken BBQ and Mac & Cheese Fundraiser Meal in the Café this Sunday! This supports our short-term mission team headed to Guatemala in February to serve with Orphan Resources International. Take-outs will be available after the 9 a.m. service.

CHURCH-WIDE

Year-End Statement

Petra's Year-End Giving Statement, with a detailed report of your giving, will be e-mailed tomorrow (Friday) to the e-mail in your Realm account profile. In the e-mail, there will be a link that takes you directly to your statement. From there, you can print or download. If you don't see the e-mail, check your spam folder. If you have any trouble or questions regarding your statement, please contact Naomi Weaver.
