Petra Statement Regarding the Wearing of Masks - Due to the increasing divisiveness and confusion from federal, state, and local leaders, along with religious freedom issues, a desire to obey our leaders, as well as medical experts who present differing recommendations, church leaders have been thrust into a no-win situation. We do not feel it is the church's place to try to police unenforceable government mandates. In light of this, we are asking each person to make their own decision and to follow their own conviction about wearing masks. We will continue to provide social distancing in our Sanctuary seating and an additional room for those who want an environment with everyone wearing a mask. We will also continue online options for those who are not yet comfortable attending in person. Let’s do our best to respect and not judge each other’s motives and hearts on this matter. We will get through this. – Petra Leadership

Sunday Morning Services - We will continue to stream both services through the Petra App, Facebook, YouTube, and our website at www.petra.church/live . To listen to the service over the phone, dial 717-481-4068.

Prayer Walks - Petra’s Prayer Ministry is inviting you, the Church, to invest in two prayer-walk ideas. Grab your family, grab some friends, or walk on your own.

  • Your Kingdom Come Prayer Walk is a time to pray for this nation, your region, and your city. Your prayers can move mountains! Starting around the Fourth of July and praying through the fall elections, take time weekly to pray and walk. Print this list of prayer points and pray as the Holy Spirit leads.

  • A Neighborhood Prayer Walk is a time to pray for God’s peace, healing, truth, and salvation for the people who live in your neighborhood. There are people near you who need Jesus. Your prayer can change lives. Print this list of prayer points and pray as the Holy Spirit leads.
