Mark your calendars for the 2021 Petra Fall Fest on Saturday, October 30, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.! As always, there will be carnival games, inflatables, tasty food, and lots of fun. Volunteer sign-up begins Sunday, October 3, in the Atrium.
2021 Vision Night – Join us on Monday, September 20, at 7 p.m. for a fresh take on our Annual Congregational Meeting! We will worship together, cast vision for 2022, announce ministry goals, share testimonies, introduce FREEDOM, and highlight some major, upcoming events. Childcare will be provided for children through Grade 4, and our Middle School groups will have a special combined meeting that night. Register your children for childcare here by September 17.

Fall Teaching Series
The Essentials: This is Who We Are - All the parts of an engine, or an organization, need to be strategically placed in order to work together toward a common goal. Beginning next Sunday, September 19, our teaching series will focus on “The Essentials” – the values, passions, and convictions that bring us together at Petra. Marriage Ministry
This Sunday, September 12, is the final day to register online or at the Resource Hub for the 2021 Marriage Retreat from September 24-26 at beautiful Spruce Lake Retreat in the Pocono Mountains! There’s still room for 12 couples. Enjoy a great weekend with your spouse and others; be encouraged by terrific input from Pastors Brian and Tracy Coles as you discover your love style in marriage; and take advantage of outdoor activities such as hiking, zip lining (free), and mini golf ($5/person). Regional Event
Region I Picnic - Everyone in Region I (Goodville/Narvon) is invited to the Stoltzfus Homestead (235 Horseshoe Lane, Narvon) for an evening of fun, food, and fellowship! It's next Saturday, September 18, at 5:30 p.m., with a rain date of September 19. Please bring a covered dish to share; the meat will be provided. Also bring your lawn chairs. This will be a child-friendly event with barrel rides, games, and a candy scramble, so bring the whole family!

Women's Study Group - Join us for a compelling study by Priscilla Shirer which will take us through the life and times of the prophet Elijah. Discover how the fiery faith we desire is being fashioned by God in our lives right now! A Monday group will be offered at 9:30 a.m., beginning September 20. Men’s Breakfast – All guys ages 13 and up are invited to a Men’s Breakfast at Shady Maple on Saturday, September 18, at 7 a.m. Brad Ortenzi will be sharing about this year's Race Across America and his journey of missions work with ZOE International in Thailand and here in the US. Brad is serving as ZOE’s Eastern USA Regional Director and Lancaster County's Human Trafficking Coordinator.  
The Conquer Series is a powerful cinematic teaching series using Biblical teaching and proven principles to help men conquer sexual bondage and walk in freedom. Tuesdays at 7 p.m. beginning September 21, East 405 (SLC). Leader: Matt Kauffman

Young Adults
WAKE Retreat – Young adults (singles and couples ages 18-28) will be holding a weekend retreat at Camp Yolijwa, Newville, PA, from October 8-10. The theme this year is “Alive!” Come for worship around the fire, time in the Word, hiking, team-building activities, and much more. The cost is $115 per person. Register online by September 24.
Student Ministries
EDGE 56 Day Retreat - Come to Refreshing Mountain on Saturday, September 25, for a great day of teaching, worship, games, and relationship-building with God, leaders, and friends. The cost is $35 per student. The EDGE 78 Weekend Retreat will take place at Refreshing Mountain that entire weekend, September 24-26. The cost is $100 per student. Register online by tomorrow, September 10.
Global Missions
Mission Prayer Focus - Tina Moore serves as a Petra missionary in Guatemala with Orphan Resources International (ORI) in their Steps of Hope program. Pray for God's anointing as she ministers to children in the orphanages, taking them through the steps of salvation and emotional healing to help them become all that God created, destined, and prepared for them to be. Pray also for God's provision as she serves. She is the featured Text-to-Give Missionary this week. Text PetraGive to 73256 and select her name from the list at the link provided.

Fundraiser Meal - Enjoy Guatemalan-style chicken tostadas with rice and beans, traditional red beet salad, and dessert at a fundraiser meal for missionary Tina Moore next Sunday, September 19, at 12:30 p.m. in the Café. Take-outs will be available after the 9 a.m. service.

Guatemala Mission Trip - Join us for an informational meeting this Sunday, September 12, at 10:30 a.m. in the Oasis for information about a potential mission trip to Guatemala with Orphan Resources International. The dates are February 28 to March 7, 2022. We welcome men and women ages 18 and older to join the team, which will focus on construction. The approximate cost of the trip is $1,500-$2,000 per person, with a $300 deposit and application due October 2. Please attend to learn more or call Desiree Stoltzfus at 717-201-6175.
Eastgate House of Prayer
School of IMPACT - EHOP’s eight-week School of IMPACT: Transforming the Spheres will be offered beginning Tuesday, September 21, at 7 p.m. This school is designed to inform and empower you to have Holy Spirit impact within the seven spheres influencing culture: business, family, church, education, arts and entertainment, government, and media. Childcare will be provided through age 7. All are welcome! 
Plan now for EHOP’s Fundraiser Auction on Friday, October 1, in the Gym! The food stand will open at 5:30 p.m. and the auction will begin at 6. Share in the excitement of a live auction as items are sold and funds are raised in support of EHOP’s regional launch! Our dear brother Al Huber transitioned to his Heavenly Home on September 4. Our love and sympathy to his wife, Anna, and to his family.
