Eastgate House of Prayer - Join us this Tuesday at 7 p.m. for a Night of Devotional Worship led by  Anna Landis  and her team. This prayer format is designed to provide an anointed atmosphere for meditating on the Word, lingering in God's presence, and receiving his truth and revelation. We will continue our focus on the themes and truths found in Psalms 63. Childcare is provided through age 7. All are welcome!
Come and celebrate as nine brothers and sisters in the Lord are water baptized at the New Holland Pool on Sunday, July 21, at 8 p.m.! If you are at least 10 years old and desire to be water baptized, you may still register online and attend an instructional class this Sunday at 11 a.m. in North 132. Everyone is welcome to swim without charge at the pool that day from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and again after the baptism service until 9 p.m. Sign in when you get to the pool. Bagged veggies, apples, salty snacks, and beverages will be provided at 7.

Episode 153: A Second Look at Immigration – A Recast of a Conversation with Jerry and Kathy Smucker – The immigration issue isn't getting any smaller. Underneath the politics and the policies are very real human needs. We go back to our archive and listen to a relevant conversation we had with Jerry and Kathy Smucker exactly a year ago. They talk about the work they do every year to help low-income families and immigrants near the Rio Grande.

Marriage Ministry
Imagine a refreshing weekend at the beach with your spouse! Plan now for the 2019 Marriage Beach Retreat set for September 27-29 at the Grand Hotel in Ocean City, Maryland! The theme is "Staying in Love,” featuring video teachings on that topic by Andy Stanley. Addison and Dana Waite will share their marriage journey, and free time on Saturday afternoon and evening will give you an opportunity for both personal and social activities, including a bonfire on the beach. Worship on Sunday morning will be through an online connection to Petra. The cost is $285 per couple, with a $25 deposit at registration; full payment is due by August 23. Register at the West Hub by August 4 or online by August 9. If you register online, please note that you have to have a Realm login to be able to pay the deposit; otherwise, you will be charged the full amount at registration.
Regional Events
Region S Picnic - Everyone in Region S (Strasburg, Quarryville) is invited to a picnic this Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m., with the meal at 5. It will be hosted by Leon and Debi Bowman at 24 Prospect Road, Strasburg. Please bring a main dish, if you are able, and either a side dish or dessert to share. Also bring lawn chairs, and swimwear and towels if you wish to swim! RSVP to Sharon Zimmerman at sharonz@petra.church or 717-286-3760 by tomorrow.

Region K (Terre Hill) will be hosting a Picnic on Sunday, July 28, at 5 p.m. at the Terre Hill Park. Join us for food and fellowship! Pulled pork sandwiches will be provided, along with beverages. and paper supplies. Please bring a hot or cold dish to share. There will be a piñata for the kids! Senior Adults
Senior Adult Summer Picnic - All Senior adults (62+) are invited to a summer picnic at the Garden Spot Village pavilion on Saturday, July 20, at 5 p.m., rain or shine. You may park your car in parking area #6, adjacent to the pavilion. BBQ sandwiches will be provided. Please bring a dish to share, along with your favorite games to play. Registration is not required. Come enjoy food, fun, and fellowship!
Petra Women
Women's Guatemala Team Swim Party Reunion - If you have ever served on a Women on Assignment Team to Guatemala, or if you are interested in joining a future team, you are invited to a swim party hosted by Desiree Stoltzfus this Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. The address is 784 Mount Vernon Road, Gap. Hot dogs will be provided. Please bring a snack and drink to share.
Join us for a Women’s Night Out – Game Night next Friday, July 19, from 6 to 10 p.m. at Petra – featuring pizza, wings, games, door prizes, and much more! Enjoy food, friendship, and laughter as we play games together and catch up with friends. Bring your favorite table games! There will also be volleyball in the Gym and some outdoor games, weather permitting. All women and girls age 14 and up are invited. There’s no need to register; just come on out! Friends are welcome. Donations will be received at the event.
Petra Men
Petra Men will be hosting the Tenth Annual Cruise In on Sunday, July 28, from 1 to 4 p.m., rain or shine. Enjoy cool cars and trucks from both the past and the present. Admission is free. Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the afternoon, including chicken barbecue, amazing hot and cold drinks from New Holland Coffee Company, and cookie dough and ice cream from Dough & Co. Bring the whole family for music, door prizes, and lots of fun!
Petra Men's Breakfast is taking a break over the summer in July and August. We are returning on September 21, when Jerry Smucker will be sharing his story.
Global Missions
Mission Prayer Focus - Joe and Jeniece Kingman and their family are Petra missionaries serving on staff with YWAM Orlando. Joe oversees the maintenance of the vehicles at the YWAM base and Jeniece serves as part of the leadership team at the base. Pray for God’s wisdom, provision, and blessing in their ministry and in their relationships with other staff and students at the YWAM base.
Sub Fundraiser Meal - Enjoy subs, chips, pasta salad, and dessert at a fundraiser meal this Sunday at 12:30 p.m. The proceeds will go toward Devan Colby, who serves with YWAM in Toowoomba, Australia, where he helps to staff discipleship training schools for young people. Take-outs will be available at 10:30 a.m.

Chicken Barbecue Meal - Come for delicious "Yost" chicken barbecue and more on Sunday, July 21, at 12:30 p.m. This is a fundraiser for the Prayer Mission Team (Mike Ingold, Alyssa Waite, Nancy Eberly, James Richter, Lydia Landis, and Janice Baldauf) which will be serving in Romania from September 11-19 with Jeremy Leaman, Director of Ten Million for Christ. Take-outs will be available at 10:30 a.m.

Thailand Work Team Opportunity - A short-term mission team will be going to Thailand from November 2-12 to do construction/renovation work at CityLights Church - the church plant started through Hopewell Network’s Thailand mission efforts. The team will partner with CityLights Church to build an entrance-room addition to the church facilities, as well as renovate the upstairs floor into an apartment where short-term visitors can stay. Persons with experience in building, masonry, or construction preferred. The registration deadline is July 31. For more information or to apply, visit this webpage .
