Church-Wide Events
2020 Church-Wide Fast - Our Church-Wide Fast begins this Monday and continues through Sunday, January 19. Plan now for a special session of EHOP on Tuesday, at 7 p.m.; a Night of Worship next Friday at 7 p.m.; a Prayer Service next Saturday at 8 p.m.; and Communion next Sunday morning.

The specific focus for each fast day has been listed in a Family Prayer Guide , which is available for pick-up this Sunday from the Kids' Hub and from the Lobby and Atrium. Adult and kids' devotions are listed in separate sections of the booklet this year. The daily devotion will be emailed to Petra attenders the evening prior to each fast day.

Leadership Transition – Lifespring Ministry Leader Geri Fisher has retired as of December 31. We give her sincere thanks and honor for all she has contributed toward the counseling and healing ministries since she began counseling at Petra in 1990. Geri directed the counseling department from 1998-2015 and was instrumental in the founding of Lifespring in 2015. She has left a legacy of compassionate care. We are delighted to announce that Marci Dodd has assumed the leadership of Lifespring. Marci and her husband Ben have been attending Petra since 2005. She has received training in a number of the Lifespring healing ministries and has also been engaged in intercessory prayer. Marci is eager to continue the healing work of Lifespring and to help people find freedom and hope in Christ.
