The next session of the DOVE Global Leadership and Ministry School will take place at Petra tomorrow (Friday) beginning at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday beginning at 8:30 a.m. The theme is “Church Planting Boot Camp." Learn about church-planting experiences, how to develop leaders for church plants, church-planting methods, and more. Eastgate House of Prayer
EHOP - We are excited to have Nacho and Merrilee Barrera with us this Tuesday at 7 p.m. to share their hearts and how God is moving in Thailand. The Barreras serve with Hopewell Asia Missions as non-resident missionaries, coaching the Isaan leaders at CityLights Church in Ubon Ratchathani. Join us as we worship and pray for a great harvest in Thailand and throughout the nations. Childcare is provided through age 7. All are welcome!

Beginning next week, we will be offering five new Spring groups:
  • Numbers: In the Wilderness - Taught by Theresa Newell - Thursdays 7-9 p.m. from April 15 - May 27

  • Financial Peace University - Led by Ken Martin - Mondays 7-9 p.m. from April 12 - June 14

  • Sexual Integrity 101 - Led by Marci Dodd, Ken Reinford, and Matt Kauffman - Tuesdays 7-9 p.m. from April 13 - June 1

  • Helping Her Heal (Men’s Group) - Led by Ron Esh - Mondays 7-9 p.m. from April 12 - May 10

  • Women’s Biking Group - Led by Hannah Reimers - Tuesdays 6:30-7:30 p.m. and 3rd Saturdays beginning April 13

Petra Prayer

Support Group
Do you have a passion to connect with the younger generation and pass on skills in areas such as arts and crafts, music, drama, or science? The Petra Homeschool Support Group is looking for adults who would be willing to invest one hour per month, 6-7 times throughout the school year, leading hands-on clubs with 8-12-year-olds in the area of your expertise. Petra Women
2021 Women's Event - Petra Women will be hosting a beautiful, courtyard-inspired Women’s Event on Friday evening, April 23, called “Growing in Faith.” It will be from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the Atrium. Please enter and check in at the West (Sanctuary) Entrance. The doors will open at 5:45 p.m.

Join us – and bring a friend – to enjoy delicious finger food, spiritual encouragement, inspiring testimonies, and great conversation. Our speaker will be Pastor Tracy Coles. The evening will include an icebreaker game and a ministry time. This is for all women ages 14 and up.

Petra Men
All guys are invited to a Men's Breakfast at Shady Maple next Saturday, April 17, at 7 a.m. Jon Boyd will be sharing his story. Jon is the COO of Alert-All Corporation and has been with the company for 31 years. He enjoys hunting, golfing, and spending time at the beach. He’s also a Penn State alumnus. Jon serves on the Lifespring Leadership Oversight Team at Petra, and he and his wife Maria minister through Restoring the Foundations.
Hopewell Summer Camps
Hopewell Summer Camps
Hopewell Summer Camp is a place where thousands of kids and teens’ lives have been changed through meeting God, having fun, and making life-changing friendships. There are three unique camps held each summer: a Senior High Camp (for youth who have completed grades 9-12) from June 21-25; a Junior High Camp (for youth who have completed grades 6-8) from July 12-16; and a Kids’ Camp (for kids who have completed grades 2-5 and are at least 8 years old) from August 9-13. Pick up a brochure and application from the Resource Hub or Kids’ Hub or visit the Hopewell Summer Camps website for additional information. Student Ministries
Mulch Fundraiser - Interested in purchasing premium black or brown mulch for delivery on April 16 or 17? If so, the deadline for orders is this Sunday! Order online or make a purchase at the Resource Hub. The cost is $45 per yard. Spreading is available for an additional suggested donation of $20 per yard. The proceeds will go toward the High School mission trips this summer. For mulch delivery the weekend of May 7 and 8, make your purchase by May 2.
Sky Zone Night - Everyone in EDGE 56 and EDGE 78 is invited to Sky Zone Lancaster on Monday, April 26, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. (Drop off and pick up students from Petra.) The cost of $20 includes transportation, 90 minutes of jump time, and sky socks. Bring some money for refreshments from the snack bar, if you wish. Register online by next Friday, April 16. Remember to complete the Sky Zone waiver.
Local Outreach
Gardeners - Apply now for a garden plot through Seeds for Hope Community Gardens. The gardens are located along Ranck Road a bit north of Airport Road. We have both raised beds and in-ground plots of various sizes, most for an annual cost of $15. Those interested can register online, at the Resource Hub, or at the Church Office. Global Missions
Mission Prayer Focus - JC and Lois Ebersole serve as Petra missionaries with JC overseeing the Africa Association of Bible Schools (AABS), which makes Biblical education available and affordable in local churches and communities across Africa. Pray for wisdom for JC as he gives direction to the ministry of AABS from a distance and oversees the African staff members who are serving onsite. Pray also for God’s provision as they serve.
