Church-Wide Events
This Sunday – Pastor Brian Flewelling will be kicking off a new teaching series called The Game of Life. In this series we will be looking at the seasons of life - as a married person, single person, parent, and senior - and learn how to do them well. Pastor Brian's title this Sunday is "Succeeding in Marriage."
BELONG: The Journey - The focus of BELONG this Sunday is on "Serve." Join us at 9:30 or 11:30 a.m. in the Oasis.
Eastgate House of Prayer - EHOP this Tuesday at 7 p.m. will feature a Night of Devotional Worship led by Anna Landis and her team. If you're wondering, devotional prayer and worship sets are designed to provide an anointed atmosphere for meditating on Scripture and lingering in God's presence. Don't forget your Bible, journal, art supplies, or anything else you might want to bring as you soak in his presence. This week we will continue our focus on the themes and truths found in Psalm 46. Childcare is provided through age 7. All are welcome!
Child Dedication - Parents who would like to dedicate their child to the Lord on Sunday, March 31, should register online or call the church office at 717-354-5394 during normal working hours by next Friday, March 22.

Water Baptism - If you are at least 10 years old and wish to be water baptized on Sunday morning, April 14, please register online, at one of the Hubs, or by using the bulletin flap. Plan to attend a class on either March 31 at 9 a.m. or April 7 at 11 a.m.

Senior Adults
Senior Adults (age 62+) are invited to join us on a bus trip to the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, April 10. Meet at 7:45 a.m. at Elite Coach, 1685 W. Main St., Ephrata. We will return around 8 p.m. The cost is $50 per person, which includes the pass to the museum and bus ride. The cost of meals, souvenirs, and the bus driver’s tip is extra. Register online or at the table in the Atrium. If paying with cash or by check, please register at the West Hub. Register soon; space is limited.
Regional Event
Region E (Brownstown, Leola) is hosting a Game Night next Saturday, March 23, from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Café and Gym. Pizza and beverages will be provided. Please bring a veggie, dessert, or snack to share, along with your favorite game to play. Please RSVP to Neil Martin at .
Petra Women
Lipstick and Crayons , a Fellowship for Moms and Children - "DIY Succulent Morning" - If you signed up to create your own pot of succulents, please come! If you did not sign up, you're still invited to join us for a morning of fellowship, It's this Wednesday at 9 a.m. in the Café.
Lit 'n Latte will be meeting this Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the home of Marie Kurtz in Garden Spot Village (220 Clematis Court). At that time we'll be selecting a date in April to meet for lunch and then volunteer at the Material Resources Center in Ephrata.
Petra Men
Don't miss the Men's Breakfast this Saturday at at 7 a.m. at Yoder's! Justin Smucker will be sharing his story. Justin is the General Manager of Lodging at the Bird-in-Hand Corporation and gives oversight to the lodging operations. Justin also serves on Petra Church Finance Team. All guys age 13 and up are welcome.
Student Ministries
Mulch Fundraiser - The High School youth will be taking two mission trips through YWAM this summer and are selling mulch as a fundraiser. Premium black or brown mulch will be available for $40 a yard, with free delivery. Spreading is available upon request for an additional suggested donation of $20 per yard. Student Ministries & Kingdom Kids
A THRIVE! Live Parenting Seminar , hosted by Petra, will provide parents with heart-based tools to help any child at any age with any problem! It’s set for Saturday, April 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The topic is “Equipping Children with Skills for Life.” The seminar will be presented by Dr. Scott Turansky and Joanne Miller, RN, BSN, of the National Center for Biblical Parenting. Their heart-based approach stands in contrast to the reward/punishment models that many parents are now using.
This event is for every family – moms, dads, and grandparents! Teachers are welcome, too. The cost of $15 per person includes a Chick-fil-A lunch. Childcare through age 11 is available upon request; the cost is by donation on the day of the event. Register online or at the West Hub by April 1.
Hopewell Summer Camps
Hopewell Summer Camps - Mark your calendars for the 2019 Hopewell Network Summer Camps at Tel Hai. The Sr. High Camp (for youth who have completed grades 9-12) will be held from June 24-28. The Jr. High Camp (for youth who have completed grades 6-8) will be held from July 15-19. The Kids' Camp (for kids who have completed grades 2-5 and are at least 8 years old) will be held from August 12-16. Pick up a brochure and application from the Hubs or visit the Hopewell Summer Camps website for additional information. Scholarship assistance is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Local Outreach
Gardeners - Apply now for a garden plot through Seeds for Hope Community Gardens. The gardens are located along Ranck Road a bit north of Airport Road. We have both raised beds and in-ground plots. The cost for an 8' X 4' or 10' X 4' raised bed is $15. In-ground plots of 12' X 20' cost $15 and 20' X 20' plots cost $25. Those interested can apply for a plot online or pick up a print application from the church office. You can also apply and pay at the West Hub. Questions? E-mail .
A few people are needed at the Petra Homestead Project this Saturday at 8 a.m. for a couple of hours to help clean up drywall scraps and sweep the house in preparation for drywall finishing. Please contact Rich Esh at or call or text him at 610-401-6554 if you're available to help. 
Global Missions
Mission Prayer Focus - Joe and Jeniece Kingman and their family are Petra missionaries serving on staff with YWAM Orlando. Joe oversees the groundskeeping at the YWAM base and Jeniece serves as part of the leadership team. Pray for God’s wisdom, provision, and blessing in their ministry and in their relationships with other staff and students at the YWAM base.

High School Fundraiser Meal - Enjoy egg casserole, sausage gravy and biscuits, homemade sticky buns, and fruit for brunch (or lunch!) on Sunday, March 31, at 12:30 p.m. The proceeds will go toward the High School mission trips to Panama and Orlando with YWAM this summer. Take-outs will be available after the 9 a.m. service.
