BELONG: The Journey - The focus of BELONG this Sunday will be on the Holy Spirit. See how Jesus’ disciples interacted with the Holy Spirit and how we can relate to the Spirit today. Join us in the BELONG Room at 9:30 or 11:30 a.m.
Songs - We Praise You, King Of Kings, Glory Honor Power, Such An Awesome God
Petra Fall Fest - Take 2,500+ men, women, and children. Add food, carnival games, inflatables, bonfires, crafts, and LOTS of fun – and you've got the 2021 Petra Fall Fest! It’s on Saturday, October 30, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is our biggest community outreach of the year, so we'll need hundreds of volunteers! You’ll be able to sign up online or in the Atrium beginning Sunday, October 3.
Petra Prayer
Would you have a heart to pray for Petra ministries and events? We are creating a Ministry Prayer Shield to provide prayer coverage for ministry events – and the people involved – prior to and during that event. Your responsibility would be to pray and to share any insight or encouragement that God might reveal. If interested, please contact Mike Ingold, our Intercessor Coordinator, at
Petra Women
Join us for the kick-off of Lipstick and Crayons on Wednesday, October 6, at 9:15 a.m. in the Oasis! Local Outreach
Refugee Connect is continuing to collect donations for a recently resettled refugee family. Please click on this SignUp Genius link for outstanding needs for household items. Also, skilled help is needed for the installation of plumbing for a small kitchen and bathroom for a former refugee family who is hosting a new refugee family long term. If you would be willing to donate labor (or reduced labor costs), please contact Kristina Flewelling at or 717-951-5241.
Would you be interested in serving local refugee families? If so, please join Refugee Connect for an informational meeting on Sunday, October 3, at 1 p.m. in the BELONG Room.

Global Missions
Mission Prayer Focus - JC and Lois Ebersole serve as Petra missionaries, with JC overseeing the Africa Association of Bible Schools (AABS), which makes Biblical education available and affordable in local churches and communities across Africa. Pray for wisdom for JC as he gives direction to the ministry of AABS from a distance and oversees the African staff members who are serving onsite. Pray also for God’s provision as they serve. They are the featured Text-to-Give missionaries this week. Text PetraGive to 73256 and select their name from the list at the link provided.
Fundraiser Meal - Enjoy "Yost" chicken barbecue, sides, and dessert at a fundraiser meal next Sunday, October 3, at 12:30 p.m. in the Café!
