We've missed you! Your safety and the safety of our staff are of utmost importance.
We are following Virginia's Phase 1 Re-Opening Regulations and Guidelines.
We are open for outdoor seating only. Our tasting house is closed, except for visits to the restrooms. We recommend your decision to visit us be informed by checking the daily weather forecast. If rain or thunderstorms begin once you are on site, you will need to move on to another location to stay dry.
Site occupancy is reduced to 50% of total capacity. We believe we can comfortably seat about 70 people at tables and chairs.
Group visits must be limited to 10 people or less. If your group includes members under the age of 21, they are included in the total group number. If your group exceeds this number, we will turn you away. No exceptions.
Children and pets must remain under your control at all times.
Social distancing is required while on site. We have spaced tables and chairs according to social distancing guidelines. Please do not move the tables and chairs, or adjoin nearby tables.
You must wear a mask when you enter our property and when you visit the restrooms in our tasting house. When walking among groups of other congregated people, you should wear a mask. At other times, wearing a mask is your choice.
When you enter our property, you will be greeted on the porch of our tasting house. We will discuss available seating with you and direct you to it. We will give you a disposable wine list to use during your visit.
Wine will be sold by the bottle only during Phase 1. We are not able to safely offer wine tastings. We are not selling wine by the glass. We cannot pour wine into your glasses for you. We will provide disposable plastic glasses for your bottled wine. You can bring your own drinkware with you and take it home when you leave.
You can purchase bottles outdoors at the log building beside the patio.
We ask that you pay by credit or debit card. We will sanitize POS screens after each customer.
As always and per ABC Law, you CANNOT bring any outside alcohol onto our premises.
You may bring portable chairs or blankets and sit on our lawn. Umbrellas, awnings and portable picnic tents are not recommended because of strong winds that can develop suddenly in the event of a storm. We have numerous past experiences of this happening. We also recommend you bring bug spray for gnats.
You may bring your own picnic foods. We will not be selling any of our typical lite fare during Phase 1.
We are not asking for reservations at this time. We recommend you limit your visit to a maximum of three hours. Seating will be first come, first served.
Our staff will be wearing facemasks and gloves to serve you.
Hand sanitizer will be set up at various locations..
Our staff will sanitize the restrooms on the hour. Tables will be sanitized as guests leave for the day and before new guests are seated.
Returning to business as usual is not possible at this point, although we dearly wish it were. Please have patience as we all step back into daily life, course correcting along the way.
