Our 2020 Year in Review report is now available. We greatly appreciate the strong community support, and take pride in the services delivered and projects accomplished. 2020 certainly was a year of adaptations and learning that will shape our practices going forward.

Our team is hard at work in bringing you the best possible program options this season. With local schools now in hybrid learning mode, our school care program has adapted to new schedules. Our team has developed an operating plan for March re-opening of the Si View Pool. With Phase 2 now in effect, our indoor and outdoor in-person recreation programs have a little more flexibility, and facility rental options are opening up. For ongoing status updates, our homepage has links to the latest information.

Our local parks continue to see active use, serving as a great community resource. We are thrilled with the Torguson Skatepark construction progress, and look forward to at least partially opening this exciting amenity very soon. The Family Fun Day Outdoor Series provides activity ideas for you and your family to get active outdoors together. If you missed the January challenge, save the date for our February event.

We encourage you to continue to get outdoors to recreate responsibly, mask up and spread out. See you at our local parks!

Si View Pool Opens Soon!
Si View Pool is working to reopen for limited services soon! Registration opens Monday February 8. Community safety is our top priority. It is critical that we get students in swim lessons before families head out to open waters this summer. It is also critical that we protect participants and staff to the best of our ability from community spread of COVID-19. Our operations at the pool will look quite different when we open, and will be in accordance to State and King County health department operating guidelines for aquatic centers. We greatly appreciate your patience and ongoing support as we navigate the challenging landscape. Please check our website for schedules and more details beginning February 8. Registration will be required for all aquatic activities, including lap swim. We look forward to welcoming customers back!
Recreation Program Plan Update
Si View's Recreation Program Plan project, the Si View Playbook is progressing nicely. To-date we have completed over 50 stakeholder and focus-group interviews to collect input from partner agencies and organizations, local services providers, community and user groups, and local elected officials. We are working on a large-scale community survey next. Your input will be needed. The Plan relies on community input to develop an actionable plan to deliver recreation services in the future. There will be two upcoming community survey methods: a statistically-valid District resident survey, which will go to a randomly selected sample, and a community-wide online survey open to all Snoqualmie Valley area residents. The statistically-valid survey will launch in March with the general community-wide survey launching later in the Spring. Please continue to check our website for updates along the way.
