The Glen Ellyn Phillies are holding tryouts for:
Full - Time Phillies Teams at the Following Age Levels:
10U, 12U, 14U, 16U & 18U
Full-Time Phillies is for girls with average to exceptional ability who are looking to play competitive softball at a high level. Fall practice and Games may be involved for 14U-18U Teams.
Indoor Winter Practices Begin in January and Run through the end of March. Outdoor practices and tournaments start in April. Most teams will play between 40 to 50 games which will typically includes 5-6 tournaments. Most tournaments are local, but some travel may be required.

18U - Sunday, July 28th, Ackerman Field 5 & 6, Noon - 2:30 pm
16U - Sunday, July 28th, Ackerman Field 5 & 6, Noon - 2:30 pm
14U - Wednesday, July 31st, Ackerman Field 5 & 6, 6:00pm - 8:30 pm
12U - Thursday, August 1st, Ackerman Field 5 & 6, 6:00pm - 8:30 pm
10U -
Thursday, August 1st, Ackerman Field 5 & 6, 6:00pm - 8:30 pm
(Note - 10U Team not likely to form as we do not have Coaches at this time)
Tryout Rain Date:
Saturday August 3rd, 11:00am - 3 pm
Players may be asked to return for a second day if the coach would like to see her again.

Part-Time Travel Tryouts
The Part-Time Phillies or Short Season Phillies Teams are for girls who do not want the commitment of being on a Full Time Phillies team, but do want to further develop their softball skills, and play in tournaments against stronger competition after the house league season is over.
To play on a Part-Time Phillies team you must play in the Glen Ellyn House League.
Typically, a Part-Time Phillies team will practice indoors once or twice a week (including Sunday mornings) January Through March.
Players should be available to practice on Sunday's during the house league season. The Part-Time Season starts once house league is over, and will typically consist of 2 practices per week and 3 - 4 local tournaments on July weekends. The tournament games typically start on Thursday and go through Sunday.
Part-Time Phillies Tryouts (10U-14U)
14U - Sunday, September 8th, 11:00am - 1:00pm
12U - Sunday, September 8th, 1:00pm - 3:00pm
10U - Sunday, September 8th, 3:00pm - 5:00pm
Rain Date - Sunday, September 15th, Noon - 3:00pm
(Deadline Thursday, September 4th)
