Anna Osofsky, DVM, ABVP (Avian)
| What exactly does an avian veterinarian look for during a physical exam? Unlike other companion animals, birds require specialized handling and examination techniques to minimize stress while ensuring a comprehensive evaluation. Dr. Osofsky will give us a step-by-step description of what a physical examination involves, from head-to-toe. This information helps us better understand the important signs of health or illness. This will also help you to be a part of your parrot's well being by learning things you can observe at home in case your bird needs to see a veterinarian prior to their wellness visits. | | |

Found homeless not far from The Landing, she could not be left to the streets and the shelter was full. Named Hazel for her beautiful coat color, this smart and affectionate young lady is always up for an adventure. With a heart as big as hers, Hazel is sure to be a loyal and loving companion to anyone she meets. She's friendly, fun, and full of life, bringing joy and warmth wherever she goes.
