Geriatric and Aging Parrots with Brooke Noah, DVM 

As advances in avian medicine and husbandry continue to extend the lifespan of companion birds, we are increasingly faced with the unique challenges of caring for geriatric parrots. This presentation will explore age-related changes, common diseases of older psittacines in captivity, and practical strategies for optimizing quality of life with our senior feathered friends. Join Dr. Brooke Noah from Stahl Exotic Animal Veterinary Services in Fairfax VA for a review of current approaches to the health and wellness of aging parrots.
