Greetings!
The Cockpit restoration was a main focus in 2023. Jack Redding, our crew lead for that section, and his volunteer crew made significant progress on the restoration of the cockpit utilizing funding from our donors. The Nose Section is now attached to the Cockpit and the Bombadier section is underway. Our welding crew expanded the fixtures to exact measurements and the restoration continues. In the photo, Jack smiles at his work. This shining new panel for the cockpit was only the beginning. Jack has trained additional members to assist with the restoration.
