Exciting News About Our “It’s Time to Move” Initiative


Last week, the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology released its draft version 4 of the US Core Data for Interoperability and included our application for physical activity assessment.


***Now We Need Your Help***


The public comment period for the draft USCDI v. 4 is currently open and we need to generate as many comments as possible in favor of including physical activity in the final version.

Comments are due April 17, 2023. For more info and how to submit comments.

HERO & Physical Activity Alliance Announce National Co-Chairs to Champion CEO Pledge for Physical Activity


The Health Enhancement Research Organization (HERO) and the Physical Activity Alliance announce the appointment of Karen Moseley and Jack Groppel as national co-chairs to CEO Pledge for Physical Activity.


Washington, DC (February 15, 2023) – The Health Enhancement Research Organization

(HERO) and the Physical Activity Alliance jointly announce the appointment of Karen

Moseley, HERO President & CEO, and Dr. Jack Groppel, as National Co-chairs for the

CEO pledge for Physical Activity . The CEO Pledge for Physical Activity is a signature-led

initiative by the Physical Activity Alliance, in support of the Active People, Healthy Nation. This

HHS Now Accepting Public Comments on the Physical Activity Guidelines Midcourse Report on Older Adults


HHS is seeking written comments from the public on the draft Physical Activity Guidelines Midcourse Report on Older Adults (Midcourse Report).

Promote Physical Activity and Healthy Eating with New Move Your Way Resources


In 2018, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP) developed the Move Your Way campaign to share key recommendations from the second edition of the Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans. ODPHP has recently created new Move Your Way resources for consumers that give actionable tips for moving more and eating healthy.
